Become a volunteer!

While becoming a volunteer is simple – there’s just three easy steps – the impact you’ll have is far-reaching and deeply meaningful. Complete the form below, pre-register to attend via Zoom, fill out a background check and start making connections with Chicago’s elders and a difference in our community. Our elders can’t wait to hear from you!

To protect the health of our elders and volunteers, we’ve temporarily suspended in-person volunteer orientations and reworked many of our programs and services. Find more information here.

Orientations listed here will take place virtually via Zoom. After submitting the form below, you’ll receive a confirmation email from a staff member with a Zoom link to pre-register for your selected orientation date. Each sign up is processed by a staff member, and your confirmation email will arrive before the orientation you’ve selected.

Little Brothers Puts Health, Well-being First

We've put a proactive plan in place to help protect the health of our elders, volunteers and staff. Beginning Friday, March 13th, parties, social clubs and in-home visits are suspended.

Instead, volunteers and staff will be reaching out to our elder friends with handwritten cards and phone calls to check in and share conversation. Please join us to remind our elders they are not alone.
