Holiday Gift Program

Every year, we begin preparing early – around August – to ensure all the elders we serve receive a holiday gift chosen especially for them. Often, it’s the only present an elder can expect at this time of year, and it’s delivered during a holiday visit from a warm, friendly volunteer. It’s a powerful reminder to our elders that they are loved and not forgotten. We’re so thankful to our generous donors and dedicated volunteers who make this program successful each year!

Sponsored elder gifts

We’ve reached our goal! But we accept elders into our program weekly. If you’d like to make a donation to provide a gift to a new Little Brothers’ elder, your gift of any amount will brighten this season for the seniors we serve.

Still want to add Little Brothers’ elders to your holiday shopping list? Download a wish list of items that are needed at the holiday season and year-round by clicking here: LBFE Holiday Wish List 2019.

If you’re interested in helping or would like more information about any of the items listed, please contact Christine Bertrand by email or call 312-455-1000.

Little Brothers Puts Health, Well-being First

We've put a proactive plan in place to help protect the health of our elders, volunteers and staff. Beginning Friday, March 13th, parties, social clubs and in-home visits are suspended.

Instead, volunteers and staff will be reaching out to our elder friends with handwritten cards and phone calls to check in and share conversation. Please join us to remind our elders they are not alone.
