Refer an Elder

Help bring friendship to a Chicago elder!

Do you know of a Chicago elder living alone? Someone who rarely has visitors or anyone to chat with? An elder unable to get out often or even at all?

To become a Little Brothers’ member, one must simply be a Chicago resident, 70 years or older and with limited social contacts or nearby family members. We serve English and Spanish-speaking elders and have bilingual volunteers and staff who visit and help our elders.

If you know of an elder who would benefit from our services, or if you are an elder in the population we serve, call us at 312-455-1000. You can also email us or fill out the form below, and we’ll reach out for a conversation. If you’re referring an elder, we’ll ensure he or she is eligible and wishes to participate.

  • Please include YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, so we can quickly reach out with any additional questions about the elder you're referring.

Join us at the End Loneliness Symposium!

On Friday, November 8th, Little Brothers will host the inaugural End Loneliness Symposium, bringing together experts in the field of aging and loneliness to discuss community-based solutions. Louise Aronson, author of NYT bestseller Elderhood, will be the keynote speaker.
