Your Vaccine Support Partner Program

Through LBFE’s newest program, elders receive help registering for their life-saving vaccine, as well as safe, reliable transportation to and from appointments.

Deliver joy to an LBFE elder this spring!

Our Annual Fête d’Armand Marquiset is a celebration of our founder and the spirit of friendship which began our work over 60 years ago. This spring, we’ll deliver a special homemade meal and celebration bag to nearly 800 elders on Saturday, April 17th. Not yet an LBFE volunteer but want to make a contactless delivery? Just click through to the next slide!

Bring friendship to Chicago's elders

Until it’s safe to gather again, we will continue to serve our elders during contactless deliveries and connect during phone visits and through the mail. Sign up for an upcoming virtual orientation to join us!

Support elders aging alone

Your gift of any amount supports essential programs and services for elders, like our Food Bag Program, which provides a week’s worth of fresh groceries and pantry staples to elders most in need.

Volunteer

By sharing their friendship and time, our volunteers truly change the lives of our elders.

Programs

From a special in-home visit to a delivery of groceries at the end of the month, our programs are designed to bring friendship and sustaining services to elders aging alone.

Support

We’re grateful to all those who support our work and mission. Because of your dedication and generosity, 1,200 elders can count on Little Brothers.

Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly has been dedicated to relieving isolation and loneliness among Chicago’s elders since 1959.

Women and men 70 and older who are aging alone have a family in Little Brothers. For 60 years now, we’ve been providing steadfast friendship to thousands of elders who no longer have friends and family to rely on.  All of our programs and services are always offered at no cost, and our organization receives no government assistance. We depend on the generosity of donors to bring conversation, companionship, celebration and connection to the elders we serve.

Donate

Your gift of any amount has a powerful, direct impact on the life of a lonely Chicago elder. Your generous support connects our elders with meaningful friendship, engaging programs and vital services.
