You're invited to celebrate with us!

LBFE’s Young Professionals Advisory Board presents Junior Prom on Sat, Feb 22nd.  Eat, drink and be merry – all in support of Little Brothers’ work!

Welcome the new year with new friends, new experiences

Share your time and friendship to make a difference in the life of a lonely Chicago senior! There are many ways to get involved.

Our Holiday Gift Program is nearly a wrap!

Less than 60 elder gifts need to be delivered – out of almost 1,000! If you’re already an LBFE volunteer and have a few free hours, you can bring joy, friendship and a present to one of our elders.

Just contact Angelina at 312.455.1000 to sign up.

By sharing their friendship and time, our volunteers truly change the lives of our elders.

From a special in-home visit to a delivery of groceries at the end of the month, our programs are designed to bring friendship and sustaining services to elders aging alone.

We’re grateful to all those who support our work and mission. Because of your dedication and generosity, 1,200 elders can count on Little Brothers.

Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly has been dedicated to relieving isolation and loneliness among Chicago’s elders since 1959.

Women and men 70 and older who are aging alone have a family in Little Brothers. For 60 years now, we’ve been providing steadfast friendship to thousands of elders who no longer have friends and family to rely on.  All of our programs and services are always offered at no cost, and our organization receives no government assistance. We depend on the generosity of donors to bring conversation, companionship, celebration and connection to the elders we serve.

Your gift of any amount has a powerful, direct impact on the life of a lonely Chicago elder. Your generous support connects our elders with meaningful friendship, engaging programs and vital services.
